Description

The Madeira Theme Park is a theme park located in the municipality of Santana, Madeira. It was inaugurated on October 10, 2004, with an area of ​​145,000 square meters.

The park’s main attractions are: four multimedia pavilions (“Discovery of the Islands”, “Future of the Earth”, “Fantastic Journey in Madeira” and “A World of Islands, the Islands in the World”), regional handicrafts, traditional oxcarts, a replica of the Monte train, a typical Santana house, a sculpture in homage to the Madeiran diaspora, a labyrinth, a lake, a children’s playground, an extreme sports field, and its gardens, where numerous species of Madeira’s endemic flora can be found.
